The Record is back from Spring Break and filled with goodies. I am, however, concerned that Aidan has been kidnapped by aliens and replaced with the one of their many-tentacled own. How else can we explain how the author of the best Record op-ed this year could write such goo-goo public policy drivel as this offering. I simply refuse to believe that the real Aidan is responsible for lines like

The siting and location of power plants has long been a vexed issue in this nation.

Regardless, these tradeoffs between conservation, development and a need for green power will have to be explored in the coming decades.

This is all the more distressing since John Shaw’s ’62 op-ed on St. Anthony Hall remains unfisked to this day . . .
