Alas, it appears that the death of Rumor, a Williams on-line magazine, has not been exaggerated. There don’t appear to have been any updates since January. That’s too bad since Williams has many more good writers than it seems to have space for. Of course, new literary efforts are always springing up and dying out, so this is all natural enough. Recall what Rumor set out to do:

The Williams Rumor is dedicated to encouraging conversation, identifying common interests, providing feedback, and fostering a community of ideas. Instantly updatable and free of space limitations, the Rumor is a complement to the school’s existing publications. It will post new content on a regular basis, providing procrastinators with interesting distractions, and writers with a forum for their work.

Worthy enough goals — goals, in fact, not that different from those of ephblog.
