Holly Smith ’99 is getting some insights into what parenthood is sometimes like:

I hate being called “cool.” Because to them, cool means letting them get away with what they want. And hell no I am not going to look the other way so some 18 year old can sneak a boy into their room. Or so they can sneak in the pool (pool is wickedly off limits to them).

So now, I feel put in an antagonistic relationship with them. I have to think like the enemy in order to thwart them.

Post 15 years out, we have met the enemy . . .
