For anyone who is interested in the history of the college, I highly recommend this page: “Change: Presented by the Williams College Archives.” It is hosted under the Chapin Rare Books library, and it shows, from 1753 to the present, the exact changes in the campus.

Who knew that the original location of the Sigma Phi fraternity house, which moved to three different locations before getting smushed into oblivion by Sawyer library, now houses Images Cinema? Or that Baxter Hall was built in 1953, just 50 years before it would be torn down?

You can spend hours absorbing the finer points, or just press play and watch the Flash animation of all the buildings appearing, disappearing, and reappearing until the college achieves its current state.
