Did you know that the person with the second best handwriting in the world was a first year at Williams? Me neither. Cute article in the Transcript tells the tale of Amanda Zaitchik ’08.

In an age where teens are more apt to type on their computers than to write with pen and paper, Williams College student Amanda K. Zaitchik was recognized at age 16 for her penmanship by being selected as having the second-best handwriting in the world.

Ironically enough, the World Handwriting Contest that Zaitchik won has about the ugliest web page that I have ever seen. Here’s a New York Times article on the contest.
