David Panush, class of 1996, apparently runs road races with his dog, Karma. Moreover, they are one of the fastest man-dog pairings in the northeast.

It seems that David and Karma have dominated the Hound and Harrier run for the past few years: winning in 2000; 2001; 2002; and, 2003. Alas, I can’t find any record of the race being run this fall. Maybe the series of course records David and Karma set demoralized competitors and reduced fan interest.

Karma is not slowing David down, since David took second in a solo mile run and 27th in a 5K run. Karma, take Ephblog’s advice and drop David — he’s dead weight.

For those who are curious, David works as the technology director, history teacher, and cross country coach at a school in DC.
