I am especially fond of this one.
So, what is this picture of?
Why does this building have such a unique window?
And how do you get into it from the inside? (I’m actually curious about that.)

I don’t know what it is from the inside; I only know from the outside. What building do you mean?

Is it on the side of the Physics building? Or what used to be the Physics building and is now part of the large science complex?

Close! It is not the physics building, but there is a word engraved just below this — not physics, but… guess again. [Hint: Aidan was the first one to post. Aidan’s field is…]

I recognize it now. Biology. So, Aidan was a biology major? I thought he was a math major.

Yes, Biology! It says “BIOLOGY” right under this window. Good job.
Does anyone notice this feature? It is rather distinctive — none of the other buildings in the science quad have anything even resembling this window — and yet it escapes common notice, I think.
Yes, “Stephen Aidan Finley, with honors in Biology” graduated last June. I have not heard of his being a math major, but it is possible.

Here’s a memory. I pulled up in front of this building sometime in May 1989 in my convertable Mustang with a bouquet of yellow roses and attired in my Marine Corps dress whites. My then-girl-friend-now-wife was scheduled to present her biology thesis results, in that building I think, and I wanted to surprise her afterwards. The surprise worked.
Lesson for current fans of EphBabes: wildly excessive public displays of love are always a good idea.
