Anchors Away Poster

One of the purposes of EphBlog is to gather for posterity bits and pieces of Williamsania (sp?), the flotsam and jetsam of public discourse at the College. The above is an example. I hope that someone at the College, perhaps even someone in the alumni office, does a better job of collecting these items. Posters will make for great reunion materials in the decades to come.

A catch-as-catch-can archive of the Williams Web site is at http://www.archive.org — the Wayback Machine. Type in http://www.williams.edu, click on the “Take Me Back” button, and see what the site looked like in the past.

The first entry is December 11, 1997. Given that the image is missing, it’s not too instructive. February 8, 1999 offers the no navigation bar, cluster everything in the center approach; by 2000, the college had figured out the left nav bar; by April 29, 2001, the Purple Cow was staring back at visitors.
