Kudos to Williams student who started this organization. Good to see that a few kids living in the “purple bubble” nonetheless may end up having more impact on this tragedy than the Bush Administration. It’s not often that Williams students take the lead in a national activism effort, with Harvard students falling in line behind them. Nor is it everyday that Williams get mentoined in a Sudanese newspaper.

While the ability of these students to effect tremendous change may be limited, they should be applauded for attempting to bring attention to the gravest, and undoubtedly the most overlooked, humanitarian crises of the decade.
