Sam Crane is off to China with a group of alumni.

The trip is a group tour, arranged by the Williams Alumni Association. My job is to give a few lectures on various topics and be generally available to discuss whatever questions might arise among the group. It will be a great way to get to know an earlier generation of Williams people.

Indeed. But surely there is an Eph in the group who would like to post pictures and comments during the trip. There are hundreds of readers who would like to enjoy the tour, and Sam’s lectures, if only vicariously.

Let me say for the thousandth time that there is so much more that the Alumni Society could do to better connect Ephs to Williams. Blogging this China trip (or some other adventure) would be a great place to start.
