Spare a thought to Eph veterans on this, the 5th Armistice Day since war has come again. Note the Ephs who have served in harm’s way. To their number, we should add Bill Couch ’79.

Bill writes:

Received your care package and was overwhelmed by the content! can not thank-you enough for your and classmates generiousity – made my day! Have been here in Djibouti for about 6 days – taking over for the current head of manpower and administration (the “CJ-1″). Very hot and sunny – about 110 degrees at high noon. Attached is a photo from my combat training course in South Carolina (I am in the middle) – pass onto our class as appropriate!

The care package was from fellow Eph Blogger Stew Menking ’79, continuing his efforts with Adopt An Alum. If you really want to “support the troops,” you should drop a line to Bill.
