Well, I just received my gorgeous ‘Hood River’ pen, and I just love it. And the enclosed $50.00 was such an unexpected bonus!

What did Rory get for first prize? $100.00?

(Thanks, Dick.)

Hey Rory,

Just wondering…is the engraving on your pen in script or block?

And wasn’t it clever of Dick to roll up that $50 bill and put it at the bottom of the box? (FYI, Dick, I almost missed it!)

BTW, if you don’t want the Tiffany box, send it to me. I like to save them.

Tiffany’s box? I couldn’t see what type of box it was beneath the jewel encrusting. Wow. That’s extra nice.

I thought the two tickets to hawaii for a vacation was a nice touch, but i didn’t see a fifty…I’ll have to check.

OMG Rory, you are not going to believe this…

Being of a curious nature, I decided to take apart my (solid Rhodium@$8,000 per oz) pen, and inside I found a tiny, ancient, rolled up scroll!

Now, I have not had time to read it yet, but I am pretty sure that it contains ‘the Secrets to the Universe’.

However, as long as you don’t tell Dick, I’d be willing to exchange my scroll for those tickets to Hawaii…

…provided they are first class.
