and I’m not talking about just his architecture, Michael Graves said “Good design should be accessible to all”. And sure enough, here he is all over Tar-jay. What do you think? Is good design in the eye of the beholder? Is ‘country’ for Nielson C and D counties? Will ‘kitsch’, like the poor, be always with us? Or has design entered the common visual vocabulary to such an extent that even that clod down the street has a Tizio lamp?
