Dave has published EphBlog since 2003! This is a heck of an accomplishment. No matter what you may think of this blog, this is a heck of an accomplishment! Great job, Dave! (now do I stay president for another week, or what?)

2day’s 2-parter:

a. In 25 words or less, what do you think of EphBlog?

b. Besides Ephblog, what other blogs are you reading?

Since 2003! Wow, congratulations to DK and to EB.

As for you, Swart? My admiration knows no bounds. Though always interesting, I don’t remember EB having near the sense of wit, grace and civility you have encouraged on a daily basis.

Okay, 25 words or less…hmmm…

a) I was initially drawn to EB to learn more about my son’s new life. But I have stayed because, for the most part, I enjoy, and learn from, the lively conversation. There are some truly fine minds here. What I really don’t like, is…(oops, 25 words are up!)

b) I don’t really blog anywhere else. I drop by some of the sites connected here, like Wick’s, Chris Gondek’s, Sam Crane’s, and Dcat’s and others, because they are all smart and talented writers. And then there is my absolute guaranteed-to bring a chuckle (thank you Ronit!)-The Barnstorming, with Matthew Swanson. He is a very clever writer whose subject matter reminds me of that which is dearest and all too fleeting.

Other than that I drop by the Sartorialist for a quick look-see fashion fix.

(Kind of embarrassing to admit all this, because really, I do have a serious career on top of all this…I swear!)

1. Hands down #1. EB mixes drunks, Marines, sailors and terrorist sympathizers from all walks of life without a single fist fight or killing.

2. None. EB is the one and only. This is the only place sailors and Marines can mix without a fist fight.
