Why not a group blog of Williams professors? Of course, we would welcome any and all Williams profs here at ephblog, but this is certainly something that could occur apart from us.

What better way to demonstrate intellectual engagement with the issues of the day to Williams students (and alumni) than via a group blog? It’s more fun than you might imagine . .

The Political Science department has followed my advice. Their blog looks interesting and entertaining. Some (but not all!) of the professors even allow me to comment.

I think that there is a good chance that this could turn into the central location for Ephs (faculty, students and alumni) to discuss politics. Wouldn’t that be amazing? Wouldn’t that be a great way to update Mark Hopkins and the log for the 21st century? Indeed, it would. Kudos to all involved in the project!

By the way, I made that suggestion more than 5 years ago, so I doubt that my advice played a causal role. Want to know the future? Read EphBlog.
