Gorgeous!

From where was this taken? And what caused the two little orange circles up in the cloud on the right? Are they a form of bokeh? Or a result of shooting through a window?

Lovely.

I’m guessing they are reflections of the orange rays from the sun cast on a window. I’m guessing this because the camera appears to be focused at infinity, and because I can’t bear to think that our beloved photographer is jumping about on rooftops at dawn in the dead of winter!

When I click on the photo, it brings me to what looks like an EphBlog post, titled “Sunrise from Perry Roof.” So (1) I think it is taken from Perry Roof, and (2) I think we can now comment on individual photos (?).

Hello! For this picture, I was not jumping out on to rooftops (dont worry) but rather just taking it from a window sill. I had opened the window, however, so the orange dots must just be from dust in the air or on the lens.
