Coakley lost the pharmacist vote?

I had no idea that her 5% drubbing included this critical voting block.

Finally now I understand all the the hyperventilating and breathless declarations of Obama’s poisonous effect on all things. He really is divisive, always seeking bipartisan support for his Marxist, domestic-terrorist loving, American-hating agenda.

This makes me think of the classic Tom Waits song, Step Right Up …

The ring tone will be available next week.

All cliche hard-sell copy seems to be written by the same hand.

But there were classics

Do you make these common mistakes in English?

They laughed when I sat down at the piano

I was a 97 pound weakling ,

showed how direct response could be generated. I actually was at BBDO when John Caples was still banging out copy.

My favorites never got into print:

‘Now, Kiss Hemorrhoids Goodby!’ and ‘Dr. Johnson puts the finger on vaginal itch!’

But I digress …

Yeah but how’d Coakley do with the most coveted MA demographic?

You know, Yankees fans.

Something tells me she destroyed Brown among those voters.

Re the “favorites” in #3:

Ahem…give Swart an opening…and he’ll deliver a punch line.

Dave’s WS Stat students must be so grateful. Now, they can apply R to another data set!
