This is a self-constructing post-in-progress. Any author is encouraged to constructively append/edit it, in ‘wiki’ fashion.

1. Learn everyone’s names. Find an appropriate associate to prepare a dossier of all student athletes, with critical info– pictures at the top of each. Put each student’s names in a calendar when you meet them. Track it– know how many students you’ve met, and make it a performance goal.

2. Lead by example (in this). Distribute similar dossiers to staff as you see appropriate. But no more.

3. Do not return calls or emails from annoying, pesky, alums claiming to be reporters from ‘ephBlog.’

10. Whatever you do, do not listen to unsolicited advice from EphBlog.
