Perhaps our readers can help . . .

The most important question for townies…

When do these profs go to Europe on summer sabbatical again?

When do these kids head back to Greenwich, Scarsdale, Manhattan and Westport?

Please god soon.

Yes, Summertime! Ahhh … a safe space. A season Free of micro-aggressions and professor violence.

Check his Twitter again. It’s code for “Not everything is political”. Credit to Arrington Luck for that one.

Back in the day I headed back to Cleveland to work at $1.50 an hour on the Pennsylvania Railroad as a gandy dancer.

Caleb, I’m confused; how is that English?

Drew,

Not sure. Just pulling from Paul’s Twitter. If you take each character as mapping one to one to an English letter the code checks out, though.

Caleb,

I’m curious. How did the occupation of Hollander Hall work out?

Regards, Dr. Drew

Dr. Drew,

From what I have heard, the occupation did not happen. I don’t even think there was a protest.

It happened, it was peaceful, it was fine. Either Caleb isn’t a student or he is a liar.

Why do so many people accuse me of not being a student on here! I spoke to another individual involved and I guess they gave me misinformation. Hollander is a long walk from my Mission single.

I think a comment was deleted…I don’t get Caleb’s last post. Please, if you delete a comment, insert a . I don’t care for you to justify it, it just helps me prove I’m not going crazy.

The occupation “happened”. When I stopped by, there was about 20 people talking quietly in the Hollander hallway, and I went about an hour after it “started”. Maybe I missed the action…damn, if so.

Last time I try to make text fancy. It was supposed to say “insert a comment deleted”.

Current Student,

I think that was my fault, responding to a comment that hadn’t been published yet.

The only place I have actually heard about the occupation is on this site. If it did happen, I do not think it was a very big event on campus.

Thanks for clarifying, Caleb. Rereading your comment in the context of Blah’s, I suppose you were technically incorrect–it did happen, it was peaceful, it was fine. It was also quiet, underwhelming, and over-hyped. I would argue that for all intents and purposes the protest did not happen because, quite frankly, nothing happened at it. The way it was presented to the student body was that it would be a mass protest that would be loud and occupation-y and disruptive. This was none of those things…when I was there, there wasn’t even any clear protesting!
